after removing kitchen floor tiles it has left black tar what do i do before putting new ones down

l have taken off the tiles and it has left this black tar stuff, and the

tiles we wanna put down are self adhesive slate effect tiles

small amount of this black glue & a concrete floor I have used a small  
propane torch to heat up the glue & easily scape it off. It all depends on

that is the old glue so you need to scrape that off before

It s the old black emulsion glue. And your right , you wont

get it up.Are you doind a peal and stick tile or a full spread glue?

Either way the glue might ( might) react to each other and not stick.

You say your on concrete , so that leaves out putting a new luan board

the 'black tar' is actually a 2 part (powder grain and
